Backend Developer (f/m/d)
Your Tasks
> Development of new and extension of existing features for the backend of browser-based software, in particular for our clinical data management system
> Partitioning of an existing monolithic backend into microservices
> Conception and creation of data models and API specificationsPartitioning of an existing monolithic backend into microservices
> Handling customer requests for own projects as part of 3rd-level support (few requests per month)
> Project work in terms of conception, implementation, testing, code review, documentation, certification, and exchange of ideas
> Administration and maintenance of the infrastructure necessary for development (CI, CD, DevOps)
Your Profile
> Completion of an apprenticeship or degree in the field of computer science or with a scientific/technical orientation
> Solid work experience in backend development using modern frameworks (e.g. Java Spring)
> Professional handling of tools for version management, projects, and knowledge management
> In-depth knowledge of design patterns and software architecture, as well as a willingness to continue to train
> Independent, precise, and goal-oriented way of working
> Creative mindset, team spirit, and hands – on mentality
> Very good knowledge of English; knowledge of German or willingness to learn desirable
